Poster / Demo submission
DILS 2007 also invite submission for posters, system demos or
poster/demo combinations (ASCII abstract up to 400 words plus
title, authors and affiliation). Posters and demos will be
presented in the poster/demo session at the conference. The
organizers will provide a basic
setup (easels, tables) as well as Internet connections but
no computers or projectors. The poster/demo abstracts
are not part of the proceedings but will be published on the
DILS web site.

Camera-ready Instructions for
accepted papers
- Camera-ready submission deadline is
April 12th
- Page limits are:
- Research paper: 16 pages
- Systems / Experience
paper: 10 pages
- Final papers are submitted
to our
Microsoft Research Conference Management site
Please find detailed instructions for preparing the
camera-ready copy of your paper in Springer's
LNCS Author and Volume Editor Instructions. Your final
manuscript, including the bibliography, appendices, etc.
must be in accordance with the formatting instructions.
Especially note that the pages should not be numbered.
To produce the workshop proceedings, we need the following
items:
- The PDF version of your camera-ready
manuscript
- The complete set of source files, such as Latex
(and figures),
or
Word/RTF document of your
camera-ready manuscript into a single zip-file
These two files (one pdf and one zip)
have to be submitted to our
Microsoft Research Conference Management site:
The contact author should click on "View/Edit Camera
Ready Paper Submissions" then "Edit" and follow
the instructions on the CMT web site. Please
name your files
with your paper
ID (e.g. 02.pdf and 02.zip).
- The completed
copyright form. Please fax your signed copyright
form by April 12th

Note that by sending the camera-ready version of your paper
to us, you confirm that you or one of your co-authors will
register for the workshop

Paper submission
DILS 2007 invites two types of papers ( Deadline: Feb.
15th, 2007,
9pm PST):
- Research papers (up to 16
pages): new models, methods, or algorithms designed to solve
problems relevant to the scope of DILS.
- Systems or experience papers (up to 10 pages): implementation of systems or feedback on practice
of systems able to solve problems relevant to the scope of DILS.
Papers describing commercial solutions are welcome as long as
sufficient detail of the problem and its technical solution are
provided.
Submissions must be clearly marked as either research or system
papers. Please use an appropriate subtitle to ensure correct
judgment by the DILS reviewers.
As for previous DILS conferences, accepted papers will be
published by Springer in the
LNBI (Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics) series.
All papers must be previously unpublished and may not be under
parallel review at any other journal or conference. Submissions
should be formatted according to the LNCS guidelines (see
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html).
All submissions will be handled electronically. Acceptance of each
submission will be based by the expertise of at least three
reviewers. Submission is electronic via the Microsoft Conference
Management (CMT) site is available
here.
